Instructor Bio — Michele Sue Stevens
Michele Sue Stevens has dedicated more than four decades to martial arts, beginning her training on June 10, 1985. Over the years, she has achieved the rank of 7th Dan in Chung Do Kwan Taekwondo and 6th Dan in Chun Moo Hapkido.
Michele’s accomplishments include induction into the NATKDA 2024 Black Belt Hall of Fame, receiving the 2015 Super Senior Dedication Award, and earning eight state titles in black belt competition.
At EMA, Michele teaches the morning Taekwondo class and afternoon Hapkido class. What she enjoys most about teaching is helping students develop the skills and confidence to defend themselves while passing along the martial arts knowledge she has gained throughout her many years of training.
Outside of martial arts, Michele enjoys watching home-improvement and cooking shows.
