Master Instructor Smith started taekwondo at Steve's Gym when he was 7 years old. He started his journey after being bullied in school for having Auditory Processing Disorder, which affected his ability to speak and process information. He found his voice through teaching and eventually overcame his diagnosis, earning his 1st Dan in 2016. Now, he is the head coach of the state competition team and hopes to receive his worldwide Kukkiwon certification this summer.
